Generally, emergency treatment covers situations such as pain and trauma, but other situations may be considered as an emergency (e.g. lump, broken denture). All persons who seek emergency treatment will be seen as soon as possible on the day they present at a Public Dental Clinic.
Weekdays (Monday to Friday, Business hours)
Eligible persons can contact a Public Dental Clinic or can present at the clinic with the necessary eligibility documentation. Please note: the service for emergency dental care at these clinics is offered on a first come, first seen basis.
Eligible country patients can also obtain emergency dental care from private practitioners participating in the Country Patients' Dental Subsidy Scheme. Further information is available by telephoning (08) 9313 0555.
