Dental Health Services is a service unit of the Western Australian Department of Health. Our mission is to promote and improve the oral health of all people in Western Australia.
The role of Dental Health Services is to:
- Prevent oral disease.
- Provide for eligible persons, emergency care for the relief of pain due to oral conditions.
- Facilitate general dental care for financially or geographically disadvantaged persons in the community and other special groups of people.
- Provide general dental care for all school children enrolled in the School Dental Service.
- Support the training and education of oral health professionals.
